FORT WORTH - Three former members of the Lady Frog basketball team received undergraduate degrees Saturday during Spring Commencement exercises held at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum. The class marked the largest number of TCU women's hoopsters to earn degrees since December of 2005.

Two senior members of this past season's squad that went 23-12 and reached the quarterfinals of the Women's NIT were included among the group in Jenna Lohse and Adrianne Ross. Lohse graduated with a Bachelor of Science in education degree, while Ross received a Bachelor of Science degree in communication studies--human relations.

Hanna Biernacka, who played her only season with the Lady Frogs in 2006-07 after transferring from LSU, joined Ross in earning her bachelor's in communication studies--human relations. Biernacka earned cum laude distinction after finishing her studies with a grade-point average of at least 3.5.

Ross returned to TCU for Commencement this weekend from San Antonio, where she is taking part in training camp in an attempt to make the roster of the WNBA's San Antonio Silver Stars. An update on the progress of both Ross and former Lady Frog Sandora Irvin, who was a member of the Silver Stars last season, will be posted on GoFrogs.com early next week.

Another member of the women's basketball program who earned a degree Saturday was Danielle Parmenter, who served as the Lady Frogs' athletic trainer each of the past two seasons. Parmenter received a Master of Liberal Arts degree from TCU.
